AEW’s Robbie Soho earns a spot in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Championship on Rampage

Robbie Soho faced Robin Renegade during tonight’s AEW Rampage for a chance to qualify for the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Championship, and although Soho got off to a hot start, Renegade weathered the storm and eventually turned the tables on her. She would have had her inner corner but her sarcastic chop would be avoided, allowing Soho to attempt a follow-up roll. Renegade got her knees back and trying to stabilize, but Suho was off, keeping her championship hopes alive.

Renegade stuck to the center of the ring, putting pressure on Soho’s head, neck, and back. She would then go get a pin just to reverse it and then hit Renegade with a big clothesline to kick Soho back onto the carpet. Soho would have made a comeback despite it being a large suplex and some of its own laundry lines.

Then Suho hit the high speed, hitting several kicks and back elbow before hitting Renegade’s face in the corner fork. Then she went to Renegade’s was it but she dug her fingers into Soho’s eyes. At this point, Sister Renegade made the exchange while Suho and Judgment were overturned, and Suho ascended to the top.

Suho ran to his knees and then Charlotte Renegade Suho lifted and reversed. Suho was kicking her and then Charlotte rolled under the ring. Robyn then came back the other side and hit the pin attempt, but Suho was kicked out. Then Suho slammed Robin down and hit the pin for 1,2 and 3, earning her a place in the tournament.

With Soho winning, the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Championship features Tony Storm, Jimmy Hayter, and Hikaru Shida. Next week at AEW Dynamite, Dr. Brett Baker will face DMD Daniel Camilla in a qualifying match for the championship.
